Its not much, but Firefox has finally surpassed Internet Explorer as the browser used most often by visitors to my blog, 48% to 47%. Its a small triumph, but a triumph nonetheless. *....

I am sitting at Soho. I really wanted to get some work done here, or at least update the blog a little, but I'm so damn tired, I don't think it's going to happen *....

Some updates on my life since the last blogspurt:
- Still completely overworked. I'm seriously considering applying for a Corporate Sales Representative position that has just opened up with the company. If I do go for it, it will be out of the sheer boredom I feel towards training these days. I'm a bit hesitatant, since it isn't in my prefered progression to Sort and Remodel Manager.
- My social life is still in shambles, thanks to work. Xavier and I have both made a pledge that 2005 will see us going out more often than 2004. So far though, all I've really done to speak of is a New Year's celebration with Alex and (kind of) Jeff. Did have an awesome night the other week with Xavier, Janet, Reggie, et al, that started at Ozio's and ended at Cobalt, with a stopover at Dragofly. I had 12 drinks. Janet had 15. Spent over $200. God I love that girl.
- Met up with Markie that night at Cobalt and ended up crashing with him. I really miss that boy sometimes.
- Finally gave Jeff the big heave-ho. Don't need any sometimes-friends in my cadre. The boy has been in town for three weeks and I don't get any damn calls. But I did have the "privilege" of holding his sloppy drunk ass up at Apex on New Years. I nearly dropped him when we were slipping in vomit. And then he still can't make time to chill with me. Told him to just forget our friendship and move on. Janet and the Xman were in agreement.
- Completely made the switch to the Mac, and LOVING it. The old laptop is officially dead, and probably laying in a few dozen pieces right now. I love my two screen setup and completel intergration with the iPod. Though, I think its time to trade up the pod. My battery life sucks.
- Plans this weekend to go out with Peter and the X man. Probably going to hit Five on Friday, and then Velvet or Cobalt on Saturday. I actually get a Sunday off, and I intend to make good use of it and shed some winter stress *....
Its a beautiful snowy day, and I don't have to do anything I don't want to do! Perhaps I'll take some time to finally get reacquainted with my blog. *...
Winter Advisory Issued for Metro Area (washingtonpost.com): "The region's first honest-to-goodness snowfall of the season arrived this morning, painting frozen highway surfaces with a slippery white coating that caught motorists by surprise, contributed to scores of accidents and prompted a handful of school systems, including Alexandria's, to declare early closings.
The weather, in a city that quakes at flakes, threatened to further complicate the coming and going of traffic in a downtown already locked down for the most secure inauguration -- perhaps the most secure anything -- in the history of the nation's capital."
